Enjoy the Show!

Hey friends.  Katie here today.  As you may have seen, this week we are celebrating one of our illustrators (and a DT member) Davina- aka Popsiclesticks and I have a super fun card for you featuring a bunch of her fun images.

Here is my card today, it is a mouse circus!  These fun critters are not working for money, they are working for cheese!

Here is how I made this:

I started by stamping my images using the Misti and then die cut them out.  I used Mouse House Stamps and Mouse House Dies, Bunny Burrow Stamps and Bunny Burrow Dies, Le Cirque Stamps and Le Cirque Dies, Once Upon a Mime Stamps and Once Upon a Mime Dies. I colored them with my Copics (B000, B14, B26, B29, Y02, Y13, Y15, E51, YR21, YG23, FYG2, R35, R27, R14, RV02, W3, W1, C5, C3, C1) and set them all aside.
Next, I used a piece of white cardstock and used the Curtain Call Stencil to create the curtain backdrop.  I used a blending buddy with Candied Apple, Fired Brick and Mahogany Distress Ink. I set that aside as well.
Then, I used some Kraft DP and used the Center Stage Slimline Dies to create the stage.  I used a blending brush and some Corduroy Ink to color a few darker portions. I used the same die with some blue glitter paper for the curtains.  I put it all together with some glue and foam tape to create this fun scene, added some gel highlights and done!

Don’t they just make the most fun circus crew?!  Of course Davina’s images are perfect.  I love their red noses and death defying acts.  The super strong little mouse holding up the big mouse is fun too.

Well I certainly had fun making this card and I hope you like it!  I hope Davina likes it too, she is a great artist.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a fantastic day!
