Dir-Tea Bunny Gets Crafty!!
Good morning, friends!! I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy!!
I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring Dir-Tea Bunny!! I love how this stamp set comes with a mug and different sentiments to add to it, but when I saw one of the sentiments included in the Springtime Sentiments stamp set, inspiration struck!!
I began by stamping Dir-Tea Bunny and A Crafter’s Heart onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink and InkOn3 Blackout Detail Ink. (I wanted to color one with a black outline and one no-line.) After coloring the images with Copics, I die-cut the bunnies with the Coordinating Die and fussy cut the craft supplies.
For the background of the pink version, I ink blended Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks onto Bristol smooth cardstock through the Slimline Lots of Dots Stencil with a Blending Buddy Brush, trimmed it slightly and adhered it to black cardstock.
Using the Slimline Frame & Fold Die, I die cut black cardstock, folded it along the score line and adhered it to the front of the completed panel. I also die-cut two panels from white cardstock with the stitched rectangle die included in the set, one for the front and one for the inside to write my message.
The sentiment, from Springtime Sentiments, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip and adhered to the card front. The bunny was popped up with foam adhesive and the craft supplies were adhered with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam tape. A trio of Peachy Keen Jelly Drop Hearts finishes off the card.
The purple version was created the same way, only this time I ink blended Wilted Violet Distress Oxide with the Slimline Stripes Stencil and a Blending Buddy.
This one was finished off with a trio of Blackberry Bliss Jelly Drop Hearts!!
Thanks so much for hanging out with me today!! I hope you enjoyed getting crafty with me and Dir-Tea Bunny!!
Have a great weekend!!
