Dimensional Thank You Card

Happy Thursday everyone!! Brenda from mypapercutcreations here with you today!! I have a very dimensional thank you card to share with you…

I wanted to combine several of the goodies from the new release to make a cute scene. I began by stamping several of the images from Seasonal Sweetheart and Joyeux Noel with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring the images with Copics, colored pencils and a white gel pen, the Seasonal Sweetheart and Joyeux Noel coordinating dies were used to cut them out. I used the Castle Scene Builder Dies to cut three snowdrifts from white glitter paper and the cloud three times from white cardstock. A scalloped rectangle die was cut from red cardstock and a panel of Bristol paper was cut slightly smaller to fit inside the stitched lines. Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink was blended onto the Bristol panel with one of the new Blendability Brushes. I love how these brushes give such a smooth blend!! I adhered all of the die-cut elements as shown, using liquid adhesive and lots of foam adhesive. (I added two layers of foam tape to the top half of the girl.) The sentiment, from Hello Sweet Friend, was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The Hello Sweet Friend coordinating dies were used to cut out the sentiment, before popping it up with…you guessed it, more foam adhesive.

I hope that I’ve inspired you to combine several of your stamp sets!!

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you here next Thursday!!
