Clown Circle Shaped Card

Happy Thursday, fellow crafters!! Brenda back with you today!! You know I’m a HUGE fan of circle shaped cards!! I paired the Circle Shaped Card Dies with the Clown Emoji Die Set for today’s card!! Are you pro-clown or do you find them creepy? I’d love to know!!

I started by die-cutting the card base from heavyweight white cardstock using the die from the Circle Shaped Card Die Set. I folded it along the score line, then reinforced the fold with a Teflon Folding Tool.

I chose a die from the Clean Cut Layers Circle Set A Die Set about the same size as the card base and die-cut it from light pink cardstock. I added bit of shading around the outside with light pink ink using a Blending Buddy Brush and added pink cheeks with a brighter pink using a Shading Sidekick Brush.

Next, using the Clown Emoji Die Set, I die-cut the facial features of the clown from black, red, orange, blue and white cardstock. I added shading around the die-cut using Shading Sidekick Brushes and dye inks.

The hair was adhered to the back of the light pink circle, then it was adhered to the card base with liquid glue.

The die-cuts were adhered to the front of the card with liquid glue, except the nose. It was popped up with a phone square.

I used a white gel pen to add highlights and this card was finished.

I decided to leave the sentiment off of the front and add it to the inside.

I think this clown is adorable, however, I do find some of them a little creepy!! What are your thoughts?!?

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great day!!

Brenda
