Blue Bon Bon Box

Hey there!  Katie here today with another fun Valentine.  I thought it would be nice to make one that isn’t all pink and red, but has a masculine feel, so I decided to make this one blue.

I made this card by stamping the Bon Bon Box Stamp Set using my Misti and then cut it out with the Coordinating Bon Bon Box Die Set. I colored it with my Copics using B39, B37, B32, W1, E59, E49, E29, E27, E25, E15. I used a gold gel pen for the paper wrappers. I used my Versamark ink and embossed the chocolate decorations using white and gold embossing powder from WOW. I added some white gel highlights to the box exterior. Finally for the box, I added some glue on the candy box sash and then added some brown glitter. I set this aside. Next, I used some blue cardstock for the base. I cut some designer paper using the Slimline Paper Pad All Heart and mounted it on my base. I added another blue strip on which I stamped & embossed the sentiment. Next, I die cut the Slimline Standalone Heart Swirl Die with some shiny gold cardstock. I mounted this on my base and then added in my Bon Bons using foam tape.

What do you think? Appropriate card for a male? Can you taste the Chocolate? I hope you like it and hope that it will make someone happy (maybe my hubby).

Thank you so much for visiting me today and be sure to check out the shop and our other inspiration pages.
