Birthday Month!

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Trinity Stamps. I’m kicking off the month of June, which is Trinity’s birthday month and three year anniversary, with a birthday card.

Naturally, I had to pull out the Slimline Layered Balloons, which is such a fun and versatile stencil for any birthday or celebratory reasons. There are two layers along with the masks for the balloons as well. They are labeled on the stencils with the notations of A and B. For today’s card, I went with an A2 sized card and picked a spot where there was one main balloon in the middle of the card. I went in using Ink on 3’s Atelier Inks (sold in the Trinity Stamps store) in the colors Sweet Petunia Pink, My Jam Purple, and Trinity Teal for Slimline Layered Balloons Stencil A.

I placed the two masks for the balloons I inked up for Stencil A and then with Stencil B of the Slimline Layered Balloons, I went in with more inks. I used Peacock Blue, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow and again, Trinity Teal

Once I had my panel of balloons ready, I picked the little girl from the Classroom Cuties stamp set because she was perfect for holding on these huge balloons. I stamped her directly on the card panel and colored her up using Copic markers. To finish off the balloons, I used a Copic friendly black pen to draw in the balloon lines. To add a sentiment to this card, I used the Scripty Birthday die and cut the sentiment out of gold and black cardstock.

I thought it would help the sentiment stand out if it off set them with each other. I really loved how this ended up looking, making it really pop against the colorful balloons.

It makes for such a fun card right? I hope you enjoyed this card! We will be celebrating Trinity all month long and finishing off with a birthday release at the end of the month!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
