Autumn Impressions Release

Hello, Trinity friends!! I hope your week has been good to you!!

The new Autumn Impressions Release is now available in the shop and it’s chock-full of cozy fall vibes and Halloween goodies!! We are celebrating the release with a fun and inspiring Instagram Hop!! I’ll have a link at the end of this post so you can hop on over and join the festivities!!

I combined several of the new products on my mini slimline card today!! Let’s get started!!

I began by creating my background panel. I ink blended Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Dusty Concord, Carved Pumpkin and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks through the Seasonal Winds Stencil onto a kraft cardstock panel with blending buddy brushes. I them ran the panel through my Gemini Jr. with the Stitched Swirling Winds Die. I LOVE the texture that these stitched lines create on the background!!

Next, I stamped the Encouragement Text Background Stamp onto the kraft panel with InkOn3 Shark Tooth White Ink. Once the ink was dry, it was die-cut with the second largest die in the Mini Modern Embossed Slimline Die Set. I cut a larger panel of plum cardstock with the largest die in the same set, then adhered the panels to a 3″ x 6″ slimline card base.

Using the same Distress Oxide Inks as the background, I brushed the ink onto the leaves and sentiment stamps from the Beautiful Breeze Stamp Set with blending buddy brushes, blending the colors on the stamps with the brush. They were stamped onto white cardstock, then cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I love how the inks blend together and the sort-of distressed look this gives the leaves! I also die-cut the sentiment dies two more times from white cardstock and adhered them behind the stamped sentiment die-cut.

The greeting was adhered to the center of the card and the leaves were popped up with foam adhesive.

Lastly, I added some Lovely Latte Baubles for a little shine.

It won’t be long before the leaves will be falling and swirling just like they are on this card!!
