Another Lap Around the Sun Done!!
Hello Crafty Friends!!
Larissa here today to share this BEAUTIFUL Earth Day Birthday Card that I created for my Mother!! I LOVE Special Birthdays and creating Cards that are Personalized for that Holiday!! Earth Day is tomorrow and its also my Mother’s Birthday!! I created this Card using a combination of Die Cuts and Stamped Images both New and Old and I LOVE how they all work together to create a BEAUTIFUL Scene!! I hope this INSPIRES you to combine both Die Cuts and Stamped Images for your next Card!! 
I Started by Die Cutting the Earth Image from the Planet Earth Die Set!! I Die Cut it from White Cardstock and used Copic Markers to Color the Image!!
Turquoise Blue: BG00 & BG10 Green: YG00, YG13 & YG17
Next I Die Cut the 3 Different Layers of the Banner also from White Cardstock using Copic Markers to Color it!!
Purple: V000, V01, V15 & V08
Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Earth Banner Sentiments Stamp Set using Versa Mark Ink and WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! I LOVE how the Sentiment POPS off of the Banner!!
Then I Layered them together!! 
Next I Stamped and Embossed the Image from the NEW Wildflower Garden Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I Colored the Image using Copic Markers!!
Purple: V000, V15 & V08 Orange: YR00, YR18 & YR68 Blue: B000, B23 & B32
Yellow: Y00, Y13 Y YR23 Pink: RV00, RV39 & RV59 Blue Green: BG70, BG72 & BG78
Green: YG00, YG13 & YG17 Brown: E30, E33 & E37
Next I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating NEW Wildflower Garden Die Set!! Then I added some White Gel Pen Highlights as well as some NEW Sugar Bowl Glass Glitter to the Flowers for some added Sparkle and Shine!! I LOVE how it makes the Flowers POP!! Then I added some Foam Tape behind the Image to add some Dimension!! 
Next I created the Card Panel Die Cutting some White Cardstock using the A2 Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack Die Set!! I Inked with some Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I used some Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink to add some Ink behind the Earth Image to help make it POP!! I added some Water Splatters for some texture, then I adhered the Images to the Card Panel using Foam Tape for Dimension!! 
I LOVE the addition of the Bees and Butterfly Images also from the NEW Wildflower Garden Die Set!! Then I added some of the NEW Sugar Bowl Glass Glitter to these Images to for even more Sparkle and Shine!! 
I LOVE how this BEAUTIFUL Earth Day Birthday Card turned out and I hope it INSPIRES you to combine both Die Cut and Stamped Images for your next Card Design!! My TIP: is to use whatever Coloring Medium you want and Color BOTH the Die Cut Images and Stamped Images using that same Medium!! This helps to TIE everything together for a cohesive look and feel and I LOVE the finished results!!
