An Ocean Of Thanks Layered Peninsula

Hi everyone,

Ilina here! I love stencils and using them on my cards! First of all their price point is great, and also they are so versatile!

So, for my card today I used the new 6″x9″ Layered Peninsula Layering Stencil and combined it with the Lighthouse die set and a sentiment from the Whale Done 4″x6″ stamp set.

To make the card I started by stenciling the rocks using two shades of gray. The stencil also comes with masks for the light beam and the rocks.

I used the mask and covered the rocks, then stenciled and water and the birds. Added the last layer for the water waves crashing on the rocks using white pigment ink and embossed with white puff embossing powder to get slightly foaming look like real waves.

Next I stenciled the light beam, masked it and ink blended dark blue for the sky to create night scene. I die cut and assembled the light house using white and red cardstock.

I used the Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack dies to cut down the panel. Stamped sentiment on Navy card stock and cut it to a strip. Added to the panel and adhered to white note card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
