All Mixed Up: Succulents
Hello! Welcome everyone, this is Shanna here today with a card that has THREE different stamp sets all mixed up! I have loved the Let Love Grow set since it’s original debut, but now with the addition of Succulent Sparkle and Fairy Wonderful I feel a whole new level of love for my succulent stamps!! The main factor in that is how easy these sets mix and match up. They flow seamlessly with each other!
I started my card by ink blending Picked Raspberry distress ink across the top portion and a bit of Twisted Citron across the bottom. I then stamped my largest images using VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Next step was to mask off the first set of images, and stamp the second set and repeat the process. Once I was happy with the arrangement I proceeded to “paint” with some other distress oxides including Evergreen bough, Mowed Lawn, Festive Berries, and Dusty Concord. I just applied a dry paint brush straight to the ink pads and then to the paper; blending next with a damp paintbrush.
My sentiment was done next, and hey…I am a Succa for YOU!! (hehe) I stamped the sentiment using Picked Raspberry to help tie in to the ink blending done in the beginning. I also splattered some of the Picked Raspberry ink all over to give a little extra interest.
Lastly, I needed some bling! I love how the iridescent Something New flat pearls added just the right amount and sparkle and shine!
Well that wraps up this card…. See you all again soon! Feel free to hop on over and check me out on my blog or follow me on Instagram!!
