A HAPPY happy New Year!
Happy New Year Trinity fans!! 2020 is going to be awesome! I am starting off the year with of course, a happy New Year’s card….I couldn’t resist pulling out my favorite Layered Confetti stencil and some Deco Foil Metallix gels for some black, gold, and silver color palette fun!
I started by using my Blending Buddy brush and some Distress Oxides in Black Soot and Pumice Stone to create my streamers. I love the automatic depth the layering gives with so little effort on my part…Total WIN!
This card took longer than I usual due to drying time, but the end result was SO worth it!! I used the “A” stencil with gold gel, then allowed it to dry. Then I layered the “B” stencil directly over it, lining up the laser etching on the stencil for perfect placement, and then used the silver gel.
My sentiment was a mix of the Happy Senti Mini set, and the Merry Christmas Senti Mini set. Some creative masking gave me the perfect sentiment for a HAPPY happy card!!
Lastly I scattered some of the Melted Icicles sequin mix and black rhinestones similar to these as well to add even more sparkle!!
