A Card for a Special Friend

Hello crafty friends and happy Monday! Silvia’s here with you today with a card for a special friend.

I started cutting a 5,5″x4,25″ from a blush cardstock and I ink blended it using the “Cheesy Background” stencil.

I put the stencil on the panel and I first blended a light pink ink, I then turned a bit the stencil and I applied a darker pink.

I darkened edges with a bordeaux ink and I splattered with tone on tone inks loosened with water and white and gold acrylic paints.

I stamped two of the super cute critters from the adorable “Forest Part-tea” stamp set, I colored them with coordinating dies and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I cut a strip of white cardstock using a deckle trimmer and I heat embossed one of the big YOU from the “Simple Sentimental – You” stamp set with a Nuvo embossing powder in cool jade. I also heat embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set on a piece of black cardstock.

I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I added some clay hearts from the “Sweet & Tart” embellishment mix.

That’s all.

Thank you so much for kicking off the new week with me.

Have a fantastic day. Big hugs, Silvia.
