A Balloon Shaped Birthday card tutorial to celebrate Trinity turning THREE!

Hello and welcome!  Thank you so much for stopping by today!  This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness here with another Product Trio Tuesday!

June is Trinity’s Birthday month in case you haven’t heard, so I am celebrating it today with a fun Balloon shaped birthday card!

I used the following products:

Bunch of Balloons standalone dies
Serious Celebration Dies
Serious Celebration Stamp set (the third product ended up not happening!! LOL. So the trio is now a DUO!)

So to make a shaped card I took a top folding A2 card base and placed one of the largest balloons from the Bunch of Balloons die set and overlapped the top fold a smidge so it would not cut…I passed it while folded through my die cutting machine and voila!! A shaped card!  This is a great technique to do with loads of shape dies!

After my card base was cut, I set it aside and die cut another balloon out of a gel press print I created with acrylic paints on my gel press!

Next was die cutting all of the words and stars out using the Serious Celebration dies.  In my original vision, I was going to use the coordinating stamp set for part of it, but ended up really liking how the dies all looked together.  I love that these products can be use alone or coordinate together—stretches my supplies further for sure!

I glued all the die cuts flat onto my card and assembled everything onto the base to finish up.  All in all it was a pretty quick card to put together!
