Thankful Scarecrow Carmel Apple Card!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today sharing this ADORABLE Scarecrow Carmel Apple Card!! I LOVE Fall, it’s my FAVORITE Season!! EVERYTHING from the Weather, to Harvest of all of the Fall Produce, the Smells and especially the Foods!! I LOVE to decorate for Fall and Scarecrows have ALWAYS been a Staple in my Garden!! So when I was looking at my Trinity Stamps Products it came to me that it would be FUN to show how you could use them to create Carmel Apples that have been decorated as Scarecrows!! They could be used for ANY Occasion just by changing the Sentiment!! What makes this Design even MORE FUN are ALL of the Decorative Elements that you can add to bring them to LIFE!! If you’re like me and have an Embellishments Collection (Trinity Stamps has the BEST Embellishment Selection) then you’ll have several on hand to pick from and you can personalize them for the Colors the Recipient decorates their Home in and they can display it as a Decoration for the Holidays too!! Don’t just stop at Scarecrows either!! You could create so many different Carmel Apple Designs using the exact same Products and just alittle imagination!! I think they’d even be CUTE for Christmas using the NEW Santa, Gingerbread, Elf, Bear extra Dies!! Seriously, the possibilities are ENDLESS here and I hope this INSPIRES you to create some Carmel Apples for your Card Giving needs this Fall and Winter!! 

I Started my Design by Die Cutting the Apple from the Apple of my Eye Die Set from some White and Green Cardstock!! I inked the Edges with some Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink to add some Shading and I LOVE the Dimension it adds to the Apple!! Then I added some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink to add some Rosy Cheeks!! SQUEAL!! It’s these little details that make this Scarecrow come to LIFE with some Personality!! Next I Die Cut the Carmel Topping from some Kraft Cardstock for the Carmel Apple using the Creepy Candy Apple Add-on Die Set!! This Set is so VERSITLE and can be used for ANY Occasion or Holiday!! Stay tuned as I have a FEW other Projects in the works to share some other Ideas on ways you can use it YEAR ROUND for some FUN Cards!! Then I Die Cut the Pieces for the Face!! Trinity Stamps has SEVERAL Die Sets that you could use to create Faces for a Scarecrow, but for this Design I’m using the Scream & Sugar Mug Add-on Die Set!! Then I added the Bow!! You can use any type of BOW for this, I think the NEW Holiday Wreath Circle Card Add-on Die Set bow would be FUN too but you can use ANY Style of Bow that you like!!

I added some Pattern Paper Squares to resemble Fabric Scraps and added some Black Gel Pen Stitches!! Then I Inked the edges with some Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter that Colored with some Liquid Alcohol Ink in Brown and added it to the Edges of the Carmel Topping!! Next I adhered the Chocolate Sprinkle from the Venti Pumpkin Latte No Whip Clay Embellishments!! SQUEAL!! It turned out so AWESOME!! I LOVE the Layers of Sparkle and Texture!! Then I adhered the Carmel Layer to the Apple and added a Large Oval Wiggle Eye to finish off the Design!! It’s he the CUTEST Scarecrow!!??
I’d definitely ENJOY EVERY BITE of this SWEET Guy!! 

Here’s another Closeup Look at all of the Texture and Details!!I added some White Gel Pen Highlights to add one more finishing touch and they really help make the Details POP!! 

I used the A7 Modern Embossed Layers Die Set to Die Cut my Card Panel from some White Cardstock and then I used the I added some Argyle Stitching using the Argyle Stitched Background Die and I LOVE the added texture it adds to the Background!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Thankful Sentiment from the Simple Sentimental Thankful Stamp Set using Vera Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!!

I Create my OWN coordinating A7 Envelope using the A7 Envelope Builder Die Set!! I CAN’T wait to send this Card and I hope this INSPIRES you to create some ADORABLE Carmel Apple Cards for your needs this Fall and Winter!! There are so many possibilities and I’ll be back with some more ideas!!
