Let your light shine

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s back on the Trinity Stamps blog today and I like to share with you a Valentine’s card.

I started cutting a 5,5″x4,25″ panel from white cardstock. I then create a stencil using the biggest die from the “Thanks a Watt” set.

I used the homemade stencil to blend some ink to the panel to create a soft bulb light (I used salvaged patina and kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide inks).

I die cut all the pieces I needed to build up my bulbs and I ink blended them using Distress Oxide inks. I also darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink.

I glued the bulbs on the panel using a mix of liquid glue and foam strips and I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold Distress paints.

I stamped one of the sentiment from the beautiful “Watt’s up” stamp set in dark brown and I heat embossed it with a dark cocoa powder.

I drew two electric wire with a black marker, I added some rhinestones from the “Rose Twinkle” mix

and that’s all.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

I wish you an amazing new week. Big hugs, Silvia.
