Winter Thank You Card

Happy Thursday, fellow crafters!! Brenda back with another thank you card to share today!! This one features the adorable Snow Stacks Stamp Set!! So perfect for a winter thank you!! Plus, I couldn’t wait to color this set again!!

I started by stamping the Snow Stacks Stamp Set with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen and added shine to the eyes and buttons with a black glaze pen. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out.

For the background, I die-cut two panels of white cardstock with the fourth largest die in the Clean Cut Layers Rectangles A2 Set A Die Set. One of the panels was die-cut with a die in the Embossed Edge Hills & Slopes Die Set to create the snow bank. I blended Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks onto the panels with a Blending Buddy, then splattered them with diluted white ink. The largest Dainty Scallop Rectangle Die was cut from black cardstock.

The sentiment, from the Simply Sentimental: Thanks Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and one layer from black cardstock, then stacked and adhered them behind the stamped one, slightly offsetting the black layer.

All of the background panels were adhered to a white top-folding A2 card base using liquid glue.

The snowman stack and stacked sentiment were also adhered with liquid glue.

I used a white gel pen to add dots over the snowmen for snowflakes. I also adhered Vanilla Sugar Snowflakes to the background to finish it off.

That’s it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Brenda
