Welcome baby cards

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s back here today with two easy peasy baby cards.

I started cutting two 5,5″x4,25″ panel from white cardstock and I created a pattern on them using the “Cheesy Background” stencil.

I first blended spun sugar Distress Oxide ink through it, I then moved it a bit twice and I blended worn lipstick Distress Oxide ink the first time and picked raspberry Distress Oxide ink the second time.

I softly darkened edges with festive berries Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints.

I followed the same process with the blue background using tumbled glass, broken china and mermaid lagoon Distress Oxide inks.

I die cut some baby clothes with the new “Ribbon Rosette Add-on: Baby” set designed by Lynda Kanase from pink and light blue cardstock and I put them on the center of the card with foam tape.

I then stamped the sentiment from the “Simply Sentimental-Baby” stamp set just under the die cut clothes. I stamped the sentences in black and I heat embossed the “BABY” words, one with lumberjack plaid Distress embossing glaze and one with prize ribbon Distress embossing glaze.

That’s all!

Thank you so much for passing by taking a peak.

Have a great new week. Big hugs, Silvia,
