Easter Blessings – Egg Shaped Card
Happy Thursday, crafters!! I hope your week is going well!! Brenda here with an egg shaped card featuring the Sugar Egg Stamps & Dies and the Egg Shaped Card Die Set!!

I started by stamping the images in the Sugar Egg Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly ink. I colored the images with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I used a black glaze pen to add shine to the duck’s eyes, then added highlights with a white gel pen.

Next, the card base was cut from heavyweight white cardstock and the two layers from two different shades of blue cardstock using the Egg Shaped Card Die Set. I folded the base along the score line, then reinforced the fold with a Teflon Folding Tool.

The sentiment, also included in the Sugar Egg Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. It was die-cut with the Coordinating Dies, along with another layer of blue cardstock. The sentiment dies were adhered together with liquid glue, slightly offset.

The layers of blue cardstock were adhered to the card base with liquid glue, along with the decorative border.

The adorable ducks and sentiment were popped up with foam squares. I added a Quackers Clay Embellishment to fill in the space to the left of the sentiment.

To finish, I tied sheer yellow polka dot ribbon into a bow and adhered it to the top of the egg with liquid glue.

The adorable Sugar Egg Stamps & Coordinating Dies just dropped today (it was previously released in a class), so grab yours before they’re gone!!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!
