How to Make a Clean and Simple Easter Card: Easter Basket Die Set

Looking for a fresh, minimalist approach to your holiday crafting? Clean and simple (CAS) card making is a timeless style that emphasizes white space, crisp lines, and a singular focal point.

In today’s tutorial, we are using the new February 2026 release from Trinity Stamps to create a minimalist Easter card that focuses on crisp white space and vibrant focal points.

Handmade clean and simple Easter card featuring a chocolate bunny and pastel eggs on long grass with a 'Happy Easter' sentiment on a kraft coloured card base.

Designing with the Easter Basket Die Set

To create this design, start by die-cutting your elements using the Easter Basket Die Set. This set includes 18 individual dies, making it incredibly versatile for holiday cards or even summer picnics.

For the background, use the Arch Card Die Set to create a background layer and a subtle, elegant frame.

Blending and Sentiment Tips

Smooth Inking: Use a Blending Buddy Brush for broad strokes and the Shading Sidekick for the tinier pieces. We highly recommend inking on the Clingy Craft Mat so you can enjoy fuss-free ink blending.

Crisp Sentiments: We chose the Simply Sentiments – Easter stamp because if offers 30 mix-and-match stamps, perfect for customizing the exact Easter sentiment you want.

Assembly: Use Bearly Art Glue for a precision hold on all the cut out pieces.
