Island Boats Birthday Card!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 
Larissa here today to share a BEAUTIFUL Island Boats Scene Card PERFECT for ANY Occasion, but today I’m making it a Birthday Card!! I’m using the NEW Tiny Island Die Set!! SQUEAL!! There are so many ways you can use this NEW Set to create Scenes!! The possibilities are truly ENDLESS!! I hope this INSPIRES You to create some BEAUTIFUL Scene Cards!!

I Stared by creating my Card Panel!! I LOVE to Ink Blend and I used several Distress Oxide Inks to create a BRIGHT Sunny Sky!! I used Mustard Seed to create the Sun along with a Circle Mask  (I’ll used both the Negative and Positive Pieces of the Mask) I created the Mask by using the Modern Embossed Edge Circle Stack Die Set and Die Cut some Masking Paper!! Then I Inked with some Ripe Persimmon and then again with more Mustard Seed!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! Then I worked on the Water and I Die Cut the Wave Pieces from some White Cardstock using the NEW Tiny Island Die Set!! I Cut two Waves but you could cut as many as you wanted!! Then I Inked with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and once I had them inked the way I wanted I added some Distress Spritz Splatters in Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers!! Then I also added some Distress Paint Splatters in Black Soot and Picket Fence for even more Texture!!

Next I Die Cut my Scene Pieces using the NEW Tiny Island Die Set!! I Die Cut the Island, two Palm Trees and two Sail Boats using a combination of different Cardstock and Patterned Paper for a FUN contrast in Design!! I added Distress Oxide Ink to all of the Die Cuts for even more contrast and shading, but this step isn’t necessary!! I also Layered the Palm Trees for even fuller Tops, but you wouldn’t have to do this step either!! 

Then I adhered everything together to create my Scene!! There are so many different ways you could create your Scene and you can add other elements from some of the other NEW Sets!! I’ll share this BONUS Card that I create using this same NEW Tiny Island Die Set!! I created a Sunset Background in a very Similar way using Distress Oxide Inks!! Then I chose to create Shaker Card Ocean and I LOVE this for a FUN Interactive Design!! I used several of the Fish Images and other Images from the NEW Tiny Aquarium Die Set so you can see how the two sets can coordinate with each other!! SQUEAL!! It’s so FUN to IMAGINE your own Scenes!! So I hope this shows some of the Possibilities when it come to creating with these NEW Sets!! 

Here’s a close up of the Scene!! I LOVE all of the Textures and Patterns and the feel of the Bright and Happy Colors!! I then Stamped and Embossed the Happy Birthday Sentiment from the NEW Greetings Fro-Yo Cards Stamp Set and Die Cut it out with the NEW Simply Sentimental Strips Die Set!! Then adhered it to my Card Panel!!
