You’re Sweeter than Candy

Hi there! Like every Monday Silvia’s here with you today with a sweet card.

I started cutting a panel from white watercolor cardstock and I stamped the beautiful jar from the new “Candy Jar” stamp set on it with an archival black ink. I stamped some candies on watercolor cardstock too.

I colored the jar with water based markers using the loose watercoloring technique and I let it dry. I watercolored the candies too.

Once dry, I ink blended the watercolor  cardstock panel with tattered rose Distress Oxide ik and I added some texture on it with the same ink and the “Tomodachi” stencil.

I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints.

I heat embossed in white on black cardstock some words from the “Simply Sentimental – Sweet” stamp set and I cut from the word SWEETER with the “Simply Sentimental – Sweet” die set from gold glittered cardstock.

I cut the watercolored candies with the “Candy Jar” coordinating dies and I put everything together with liquid glue.

I added a cute twine bow on the jar and some confetti from the “Pearly Pastels Confetti” embellishment mix here and there and that’s all.
