You’re Out of This World – Flight Deck
Hello, fellow crafters!! I hope your week is going well!! Brenda back with you today sharing a card featuring the Flight Deck Die Set!!
I began by pressing the Time Warp Letterpress Die onto a panel of dark blue cardstock with metallic silver ink and my BetterPress system. I cut it out with the largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangles Set A Die Set, then splattered it with diluted white bleed-proof ink. The elements in the Flight Deck Die Set were cut from frosted silver, two shades of gray, black, white and red cardstock. They were adhered to the background using liquid glue, except the top of the yokes (yes…I had to Google what they were called) were popped up with foam tape to create some dimension.
The planets, also from the Space Deck Die Set, were die-cut from yellow ink. I blended Mustard Seed, Wild Honey and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Inks onto them using Blending Buddy Brushes. They were adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment is from the Out of This World Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with red dye ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die.
The sentiment was popped up with foam tape.
I added lots of Shimmer Stars Confetti to finish off the card.
