Tis the cheesy-on to brie jolly

Hello crafty friends and welcome back to the Trinity Stamps blog. Silvia’s here with you today with a cute and cheesy Christmas card.

I started cutting a panel from kraft cardstock and I create a “Christmas Bubble” background using the “Cheesy Background” stencil. I first applied lumberjack plaid Distress Oxide ink throgh it. I then turned it a bit and I applied rustic wilderness Distress Oxide ink. To blend the inks I used the Blending Buddy Brush.

I turned the stencil one more time, I applied a white ink through it and I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink.  Once dry, I splattered with clean water, white and gold acrylic paints, some drops of Liquid Pixie Dust and I set it aside.

I then stamped one of the super cute images from the “Extra Cheese”  and some accessories from the “Festive Cheese” stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies (here and here).

Next I die cut two panels with the “Dainty Scallop Rectangles” die set, one from brown cardstock and one from vellum.

I used an acto knife to cut out the inside of the brown panel and then I glued it over the vellum one with liquid glue.

I stamped one of the sentiment from the “Festive Cheese” stamp set on strip of white cardstock and I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape.

That’s all.

Thank you so much for passing your Monday with us, I hope you’ll enjoy the card.

Have a super fantastic new week. Big hugs, Silvia.
