Need A Recharge?
Hello, crafters and happy Thursday!! Brenda here with a card featuring the Recharge Stamp Set from the latest release!!
I started by stamping the battery and lightening bolt from the Recharge Stamp Set multiple times onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them in rainbow colors using Copic markers, used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out, then adhered the lightening bolts with liquid glue.
I die-cut a panel of black cardstock with the second largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangles Set A Die Set.
The batteries were adhered to the background with liquid glue and the excess was trimmed from the edges.
The sentiment, also from the Recharge Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die.
The background was adhered to a white A2 card base with liquid glue.
The sentiment was popped up in the center with foam squares. I added highlights with a white gel pen, used a sparkle pen to add shine to the silver parts of the batteries and added shimmer to the lightening bolts with a metallic gold gel pen. It’s all in the details, right?!?
Lots of Gold Star Holographic Confetti adds the perfect finishing touch (and even more shine).
