Need A Recharge?

Ilina here! Today I am sharing a card using the new Recharge stamp set and the coordinating dies. Being an electrical engineer by day, I love the batteries in this set.

To make the card, start by stamping the batteries on watercolor paper (I used hot press) with black waterproof ink. Stamp the smiley face on one and also the level of charge lines towards the bottom. I used the larger line stamp and masked the sides of the stamped batteries.

Using watercolors or watercolor markers color them in.

On a piece of light (lime) cardstock stamp the Skinny Stripe Background stamp with green ink , shift the cardstock and stamp it again in white pigment ink.

Cut two 4 1/4” x 3/4” strips from it. Save the rest for later use.

die cut the batteries using the coordinating dies.

Cut an A2 panel (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) from white cardstock and adhere strips, one on the top and one of the bottom. Adhere the batteries using foam tape, and stamp sentiment using black ink.

Adhere the whole panel to a A2 top folding card! 

Your card is finished!!!
