Happy Birthday card

Helloooooo and welcome back to the Trinity Stamps blog! Silvia’s here with you today to kick off this Monday with a new card.

I started cutting a panel from white cardstock and I ink blending it applying kitsch flaming, salvaged patina, mowed lawn and mustard seeds Distress Oxide inks through the “Sprinkled Border” stencil.

I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with clean water and whie and gold acrylic paints.

I then cut all the pieces I needed to build up my birthday cake slice with the new “You Take The Cake” die set from white cardstock.

I decided to make a rainbow cake and so I colored all the pieces with Distress Oxide inks.

For the layers I used kitsch flamingo and lumberjack plaid, squeezed lemonade and fossilized amber and salvaged patina and peacock feathers  Distress Oxide inks.

I splattered with clean water and tone on tone inks and I put the slice together.

I then die cut the sentiment with the same die set from glittered cardstock in gold and the outline from vellum.

I put everything together using the fantastic “Crafty Gluefriend” liquid glue, I added some confetti from the “Electric Parade” mix here and there and that’s all.

Thank you so much for passing by today.

Have a fantastic new week! Big hugs, Silvia.
