Almost One Layer Card – Astronomical Gnomes

Ilina here! Today I am sharing a simple card that includes more stamping and coloring and it can be easily made into one layer card if you create the card base from watercolor paper and directly stamp and color on it.

For my card today I used a piece of hot press watercolor paper measuring 4” x 5 1/4”. I like the hot press watercolor paper because of it’s smooth and silky texture.

Once, I had my piece of watercolor paper I stamped the images and message from the Astronomical Gnomes set using Black Waterproof ink. I heat set the ink to make sure it’s dry before I started coloring, so I do not smudge it.

Astronomical gnomes set is out of stock, but you can use any other coloring set from the latest release.

Once you have all the images stamped, use watercolors of your choice to add color ( I used Zig watercolor markers)

Create a card base from dark teal ink, and using foam tape adhere the colored panel. You card is done!!!!
