Monster Love-One Stamp, Three Ways with Design Emily M!

Hi Friends and Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Emily @popofpaper here today with three “Monster Paper Hugs” cards using one Sneak Peek stamp set called Monster Love. For a little extra sneak peek fun, I’ve also included a few peeks of new dies that are also releasing this week. All new release product will go live in the shop on Friday, January 24th.

The Monsters in this set are absolutely ADORABLE and if you use the coordinating dies there are two monsters that can hold things like hearts and banners in their hands!!

For all my cards today, I stamped the images with VersFine Clair Ink, Heat Embossed with Clear Embossing powder and water colored with a handful of my favorite Zig Color Clean Brush Markers in bright and cheerful Valentine colors: Light Carmine, Pink, Light Pink, Dark Pink, Pink Flamingo, Sugared Almond Pink, Light Violet, Violet, Lilac, Light Blue, Cornflower Blue, Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Green and Persian Green.

3-2-1…Say Cheese

A cute snapshot of a Monster-Ladies Night Out. I think I squeezed just about every Monster from this stamp set into this one snapshot. The sentiment from the Love & Stuff Stamp Set was white heat embossed on purple cardstock. For a little extra pop, I added some sparkle glitter paper behind the photo frame.

My Little Love Monster

This little cutie when die cut using the coordinating dies can have her hugging all sorts of fun things. I thought it was pretty cute having her hold a love sign. For a little extra shimmer and fuzzy dimension, I added some Diamond Crystal Stickles to her fur. For a little extra pop, I added a few heart sprinkles embellishments

Huge Monster Hugs!

Monster Hugs are soooo Big they deserve the length of a Slim Line Card. For the card panel purple frame, I used the Stitched Card Panels and Windows Slim Line Die Set.  After I  colored the two blue “I Love you This Much” monsters, I added two Purple Heart embellishments from the Unconversationals Heart Sprinkle Mix. For the Hugs letters, I used my Blending Buddy Brushes to blend Wilted Violet & Dusty Concord Distress Oxide Ink to white card stock and then die cut the letters from the purple inked card stock. The Monster sign was die cut from white and purple card stock and adhered together using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. To center everything on the card, I first placed the monsters on the end and then I spaced out HUGS and placed Monster in the center.

Tip: To help adhere separated letters, keep your attach a long piece of washi or purple tape across the top of the letters. Turn over all the letters on the washi strip and add your glue to the letters. Turnover again to position all your letters and adhere to the card in one step. After the letters are glued in place, carefully remove the washi tape.

So there we are friends, three Monster Valentines using the soon to be released Monster Love stamp set and coordinating dies.

Stayed tuned all week for more sneak peeks from the amazing Trinity Stamps design team!! All new release product will go live in the shop on Friday, January 24th and we’re celebrating with a inspiration-filled New Release Blog Hop!

Big Paper Hugs!
