A PIE CARD FULL-FILLED OF HOLIDAY WISHES

Hello there! Silvia’s here with you today with a new card.

I started cutting a 5,5″x4,25″ panel from a very light pink cardstock and I colored it blending tattered rose and saltwater taffy Distress Oxide inks through the “Halftone Texture” stencil.

I darkened edges with saltwater taffy, worn lipstick and festive berries Distress Oxide inks, I splattered with clean water first and then with white, gold and tone on tone acrylic paints and I set it aside.

I then die cut a beautiful pie from white and kraft cardstock using one of my favorite die ever, the “Oh My Pie” one.

I ink blended the white base of the pie with abandoned coral, festive berries and laumberjack plaid Distress Oxide inks and I darkened edges of the kraft cardstock die cut pieces with vintage photo and walnut stain Distress Oxide inks.

I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints and once dry I glued all the pieces together with liquid glue.

I heat embossed in brown one of the sentiments from the “Hap-pie Day” stamp set in the center of the card base.

I cut in a half the pie and I put the two pieces on the card (one on the top and one on the bottom) with foam tape.

I added some pink and red tiny clay hearts here and there and that’s all.
