You’re So Cool
Hello, Trinity friends!! Brenda back with you today!! Nothing says summer like a colorful frozen treat!! I’m sharing a “cool” card featuring some of the goodies from the Fro-Yo collection designed by Carrie Rhodes!! Perfect for a summer thank you or just to let someone know how cool they are!!
I starred by die-cutting the Waffle Texture Coverplate Die from tan cardstock. I also die-cut a panel with the second largest die from the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Die Set A from the same color of cardstock and blended Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the outside with a Blending Buddy Brush. The waffle die-cut was adhered with liquid glue and the excess was trimmed from the edges, then it was adhered to a white A2 card base.
Next, the elements for the fro-yo were die-cut from white cardstock using the Fro-Yo Friends Die Set. I used the Fro-Yo Swirl Stencil to add color to the ice cream with Blending Buddies and Shading Sidekicks using Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.I added shading to the other die-cuts with the same colors of ink, then adhered them all together with liquid glue.
The sentiment, from the Sentiments Fro-Yo Die Set, was cut from bright pink and white cardstock.
Two dies from the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Die Set A were used to die-cut panels from blue and white cardstock. They were adhered to the background with liquid glue.
The cup of fro-yo was adhered, also using liquid glue. The sentiment was popped up with foam squares.
A few Funfetti Love Sprinkles in coordinating colors were added to finish off the card.
