Easter Basket Card
Hello Crafty Friends!!
Larissa here today to share a SWEET Easter Basket Card using several of the NEW Products from the February Release!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE Die Cutting and ALL of the Creative Freedom it gives you to create Projects using your own Creativity!! There are so many different shapes included in several of the NEW Die Sets that can be used to create Simply Images and that Bunny Bum was created using those Shapes!! I hope this INSPIRES you to look at these Sets with NEW Eyes and see ALL of the possibilities with them!!
I Started by creating the Card Panel!! I Die Cut the A7 Envelope Builder Die Set (using the Scalloped A7 Rectangle Die Cut from some Light Turquoise Cardstock) then I Die Cut some White Cardstock using the A7 Modern Embossed Layers Die Set!! I Inked the Card Panel with some Salvaged Patina and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Inks!! I adhered everything together and then started on the Card Elements!!
I Started by Die Cutting the Easter Basket Elements from the NEW Easter Basket Add-on Die Set from some Kraft Cardstock and then inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Die Cut the Easter Eggs from some Yellow and Turquoise Cardstock and used the Little Dies (Flowers and the Circle Flower Center) from the Set to Decorate them!! There are so many FUN ways you could Decorate all of the Eggs just by using the Smaller Dies!! An Easter Basket Card filled with all Decorated Eggs would be so SWEET too!! Then I added some Baubles and some Iridescent Glitter to the Eggs to finish off the Designs!! For the Bunny Bum I used the NEW Egg Shaped Card Die Set to Die Cut the Small (Yolk Image) for the Body of the Bunny from some Gingham Patterned Paper!! Then I Die Cut the Belly from some more Pattered Paper using the Small Egg Shape from the NEW Easter Basket Add-on Die Set!! I also Die Cut the Bunny Feet from the other 2 Smaller Egg Dies from Gingham and Pink Cardstock and then I inked with some Hickory Smoke and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Inks to add some Shading!! Then I Die Cut the Bow from some Glitter Cardstock and I actually Layered 2 together to create more of a 3-D Bow and I LOVE how it turned out!! I added a Die Cut Flower to the center of the Bow and finished it off with a Sunshine Bauble!!
Here’s a Close up look at that CUTE Bunny Bum!! SQUEAL!! Just makes me SMILE!! I added all of the Elements to the Die Cut Basket and then I finished off the Bunny Bum with a FUN Iridescent Fringe Pom-Pom!! It turned out so CUTE and I LOVE that this was created ALL with the Simple Shapes from the Die Set and some Imagination!! A SWEET Chick would be FUN to add to the Basket too!! I’m sure there are several other images you could create as well ENDLESS Possibilities!!
Here’s another look at the Layered Bow at the top of the Easter Basket!! This Bow is going to be PERFECT to add to other Die Cut Images as well!! I LOVE Images like these as they really are so VERSATILE!!
I Die Cut the Flowers also from the NEW Easter Basket Add-on Die Set from some Purple and Yellow Cardstock and then I added some Baubles to the Center of them as well and added them to the bottom of the Easter Basket Image to finish off the Scene!!
I LOVE how this turned out and ALL of the possibilities with these Die Sets to create some SWEET Easter Basket Cards filled with all different types of Images that you can Create!! Die Sets like this are so FUN as your Creativity can run WILD and you can create Images that weren’t originally a part of the Set but that you can create using them!! So, I hope you feel INSPIRED and I honestly look forward to seeing all of the AMAZING Creations that you come up with for these Die Sets!! There are so many possibilities not just for Easter Cards but from Spring and Summer that can be used for ANY Occasions just by changing the Sentiments and the Images used!!
