VIDEO: Three Ways to Use Eerie Eyes for Halloween!

Hi friends! Jessica Frost-Ballas here and today I’m excited to share a video tutorial for this trio of cards! I love the Eerie Eyes die set and wanted to show you a few ways to use them for Halloween! You can find a video tutorial for this card below or at this link.
My first card is probably the easiest, but it’s perfect for cat lovers! I start by sketching out the outline of a cat on a piece of black cardstock and fussy cut it. I use Eerie Eyes to die-cut the cat eyes and then add yellow cardstock behind the eyes for that spooky glow! I adhere that to a card and add a sentiment from Simply Sentimental: Halloween to finish the card! Super quick and easy!
For my second card, I start by blending black distress ink around the edges of a panel of dark grey cardstock with a Blending Buddy. Then I arranged all the eyes from Eerie Eyes onto the panel and die-cut them. I backed the eyes with yellow, light green, and orange cardstock and finished the card with another sentiment from Simply Sentimental: Halloween.
For my last card I started by tearing ivory cardstock into strips. I used a Blending Buddy and a Shading Sidekick Brush to blend a little Antique Linen, Old Paper, Bundled Sage distress oxide ink to the torn edges of the strips. I die-cut the Eerie Eyes from a piece of black cardstock and then arranged the strips over the panel before trimming off the excess. I added yellow cardstock behind the eyes and then stamped the sentiment from Simply Sentimental: Halloween to finish the card!
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time—happy crafting!
