Birthday Slimline Shaker Card – Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Collaboration

Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda back with you today!! It’s such an exciting day!! The “Ice Cream Gnome” Stamps & Coordinating Die Set STAMPtember release with Simon Says Stamp is available today and it’s absolutely adorable!! I HAD to create a slimline card so I could use ALL three of these darling gnomes on my card today!!

I started by stamping the gnomes from the Ice Cream Gnome Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copics, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

Next, I stenciled the Layered Balloon Slimline Stencils onto a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock with Cracked Pistachio and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Inks using Blending Buddy Brushes. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the Slimline Stitched Frames Die Set. (Sorry…I didn’t realize that this die set is no longer available, you could achieve a similar look with the Modern Embossed Slimline Panels Die Set.)The largest die in the same set was cut from another panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. I blended Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink around the outside of the panel. I blended Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide around the outside of another panel. I taped the smaller scalloped frame from the Dainty Scallop Edge Slimline Die Set and the smallest rectangle die in the Slimline Stitched Frames Die Set together, then cut the frame from the ink-blended panel to create the pink frame.

I folded the scored lines of a Full Slimline Flat Acetate Shaker Pouch and reinforced the folds with the Teflon Folding Tool. The panel was placed inside the pouch and the tabs were adhered to the back of the panel with 1/4″ Rip & Stick Adhesive, leaving one end opened. (Be sure to remove the protective film from the front of the shaker pouch.

I added Pulled Taffy and Spring Green Opaque Rhinestones into the pouch, then sealed the open end.

The sentiments are also from the Ice Cream Gnome Stamp Set. They were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Dies.

The gnomes and sentiments were adhered to the front of the shaker with liquid glue.

Glossy Accents was added to the frosting on the cake, fudge on the ice cream cone and beard of the cupcake to finish off the card.

I love how this turned out!! This Ice Cream Gnome Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies are available at Simon Says Stamp only while supplies last, so make sure you grab yours before they’re gone!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a terrific Thursday!!
