You Make Life Sweet

Ilina here! If you know me, you know I LOVE ice cream and sorbet and I love gnomes. So the It’s Sherbet Day set was just calling my name.

To make the card I started by stamping the image and sentiment I wanted to use on watercolor paper using black ink. Then I embossed it with clear embossing powder and die cut it using the coordinating dies.

Next, I watercolored the image using watercolor markers, but you can use any medium of your choice.

In my stash of gel press ink blended backgrounds I found a light green/yellow one and thought it would go great with the image. I trimmed it down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered the image and sentiment using foam tape. 

Next, using foam tape I adhered the panel to a white note card and added few Bubble Blow Out embellishments as finishing touch
