Succulent Sparkle

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using Trinity Stamps’ stamp set named, Succulent Sparkle. This set is so versatile and you can do so much with it! I love how there’s so many images and there’s so many possible combinations of how you put everything together.

Today, I decided to sit down and spend some time masking. Sometimes, it’s totally worth it to play with masking and it’s so satisfying for the final reveal.

I used the larger succulent images first and stamped those. I wanted them in the front and since they are larger, they filled out the circle frame I wanted to create.  Once I filled out the circle frame with most of the succulents, big and small, I added the crystals and diamonds to fill out any empty spaces. They will provide the pop of color to stand out among the shades of green.

Once I finished stamping out the images, I actually ended up fussy cutting around the edges and inside the frame. It seems intimidating but the edges are actually very easy to cut around and not super detailed.

In the center, I decided to add a white background and heat embossed (using gold embossing powder) the sentiments from the new release’s freebie, Kind One senti-mini. I wanted it to stand out from the frame but thought black would be too harsh.

I’m totally loving how this card turned out and all that masking was totally worth it!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
