Succulent Shaker Card

Hello!  Today I decided to make a slim card (dimensions are 8.5 inches by 3.5 inches) that included a long planter that doubled as a shaker element.  The stamp sets that I used today are the Fairy Wonderful and Succulent Sparkle sets. I’m sharing a very quick video today on the Trinity Stamps YouTube channel: link.

Briefly:

  1. I made a slim line card base (8.5 inches by 3.5 inches), an 8.5 inch by 3.5 inch panel out of Lawn Fawn spiffy speckled green cardstock and an 8.25 inch by 3.25 inch panel out of Lawn Fawn spiffy speckled purple cardstock (I used the “b” side).
  2. I copic colored several of the Succulent Sparkle and Fairy wonderful images.  The elongated planter was made by using 2 nested rectangle dies and trimming it down to size (I used a copper colored cardstock that I had in my stash).  I adhered acetate to the planter and then surrounded the edges with double adhesive foam to create a container for the sequins/shaker elements called “Lime-Aid green Confetti“.  First I adhered a piece of cardstock that had been heat embossed with Hero Arts sand embossing powder, then added the confetti and then encased the confetti with the shaker planter.
  3. I adhered all the images and finally adorned the card with a few “Blackberry Bliss Jelly Drop Hearts“.

And that is it- a simple card!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
