S-mitten With You – Valentine’s Edition
Hello, Trinity friends!! I hope you had a great week and have some exciting plans for the weekend!! I have a fun card to share with you today featuring the S-mitten stamp set!! With the pink and red color combo, it is geared more toward Valentine’s Day, but it could really be used year-round!!
I started by stamping the mittens from the S-mitten stamp set onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with Fadeout Ink for some no-line watercoloring. After I colored them with Tombow Dual Brush Markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Die and added in the details with a Copic Multi-liner. I used a Blending Buddy with Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Inks to create the background with the Catching Some Rays Stencil on another panel of Bristol.
I die-cut a heart in the center of a panel of red cardstock and adhered it over the ink-blended panel. The mittens were popped up in the center with foam adhesive. The greeting, also from S-mitten, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip and adhered over the mittens with foam tape, for even more dimension. Lastly, a few hearts from the Double Bubble and Cinnamon Red Hots Heart Embellishment Mixes were the perfect finishing touch!!
This stamp & die is such a great price point!! It would make super-cute (and quick) handmade Valentine cards for a child’s friends or classmates!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
