National Coffee Day Hop with CLC

This is Shanna here today from Caffeinated Craftiness and I have a pair of cards featuring some fa-BREW-lous products from Trinity Stamps!  I will link them all at the bottom of the post for convienience.  

My projects are kind of a 2 for 1 card design.  I started by stamping the Fa-Brew-Lous Slimline stamp onto Kraft card stock using Ink on 3 Twiggy Brown ink. Next I die cut the panel using the Slimline Wide Heart Trio die.  I set aside the hearts that were die cut to use on my second card. Next I grabbed my all-time favorite Black and White Slimline paper pack and pulled out a piece to hot foil!  I used Thermoweb’s deco foil in Amber Watercolor to foil the design—I love that the paper pack has the versatility of being able to be foiled too!  I die cut the foiled pattern paper with the same Heart Trio die and inset the hearts into my Kraft die cut slimline panel. 

For my sentiment I grabbed some Peel and Stick Deco Foil Toner sheets and the same Amber Watercolor Deco foil to use with the Coffee Word dies from the Coffee Foil and Cut die set.  I die cut the word  from the toner sheet and then ran it through my laminator with a piece of the Amber Watercolor foil.  Then I cut another piece of the toner paper and used that same piece of foil that I used for the word to transfer onto the toner paper.  This gave me the negative space of the word (in black because the toner paper is black) and I was able to die cut out the “word” using the shadow die!  Similar to using a solid foil plate if you ever use hot foil dies and glimmer foils.  

I adhered the word die onto my heart trio panel using the Trinity Gluefriend liquid adhesive (LOVE!!), and stamped my sub-sentiment in black ink underneath.  Affixing the panel to a card base was the final step along with a smattering of Holo Silver Confetti sequins to add to the bling factor!

For my second card I used a white A2 card base and stenciled with the Layered Coffee Bean stencil directly onto the base using the Ink on 3 Twiggy Brown ink and one of the new and improved Blending Buddies Trinity just released!  I love how comfy these are to hold and they blend like a dream!  I clustered two of the hearts I had set aside from my Kraft die cut panel and then added the second foiled Coffee word die onto the card as well.  The sub-sentiment was once again stamped with black ink–but this time I chose to match the curve of one of the hearts!.  To finish off this card I grabbed some clay coffee beans from the Crafty Roast embellishment mix and added a few to the card.
