Meet the Artists behind Trinity’s first release!

-Hi Friends!

I am SO excited. This is THE week we have all been waiting for here at Trinity Stamps Grand Opening week! All of our new release products are available now. Our guest designers will be serving up some pretty amazing inspiration in the Grand Opening Blog Hop celebration on Thursday, May 31st. Until then, I thought that I would introduce the artists behind our very first release.

Let me first say, I am honored that these women shared their talent with Trinity Stamps. These two women are not only talented and easy to work with, they are also two of the kindest and sweetest souls you will ever meet! Now, let’s get to those introductions!

I am pleased to introduce our inky sweetheart, Christina Holly! Christina is a freelance artist and illustrator that you may know by the name MilkandHoney.Inked.  I followed Christina for some time on Instagram, and fell in love with all of her beautiful floral artwork. I reached out to see if Christina would be interested in Illustrating some stamps for Trinity and she thankfully said yes! Christina designed three of our new stamp sets in this release… Bouquet of Hope, Hopeful Flowers (add on to Bouquet), and Hello Sweet Friend. Christina was so great to work with. Collaborating with her was exciting and fun. She was extremely patient with me through this whole process as it was all new to the both of us. We had a very hard time narrowing down which of Christina’s beautiful designs to use for our stamp sets. I know you will agree that we picked some beautiful stamps sets that show off Christina’s soft and feminine style. I am so thankful to Christina for her time and dedication and of course for the beautiful sets she designed. When asked, Christina wrote a few words about herself, here is what she has to say;

Hello creative friends,

  My name is Christina Holly and I do freelance art and illustration from my home in California. I mostly create pen and ink, floral line drawings, but also enjoy watercolor and all floral subjects. I’m inspired daily by the natural wonders all around me, constantly in awe of God’s glorious creation. I loved designing these stamp sets for Trinity Stamp Co. and hope you enjoy creating with them! To see more of my artwork please visit me on Instagram at milkandhoney.inked.

Be sure to visit Christina’s Instagram account to see many of her beautiful creations. Christina posts almost daily and I always look forward to what I will see from her next!

We have one more special artist to introduce you to…

Meet the Mistress of  crafty-magic, Davina Cantrell!  I have a story to share about Davina. I have been following her on Instagram for a really long time, probably longer than she realizes.  She’s an incredibly talented card maker and such a sweet person. In the early stages of planning Trinity Stamps,   I saw a stamp set that Davina illustrated and had manufactured for herself. Davina didn’t brag about the stamps she made, or even make some big announcement about it. However so many comments posted and people wanted to know where she found these amazing stamps that she used to make these Harry Potter themed cards! Her Instagram followers were sad to find out that these illustrations/stamps weren’t something that was available to purchase. Well, with us having a huge Harry Potter fan in our home,  I thought a wizard set would be perfect to add to Trinity’s collection of stamps!  I asked Davina if she might want to step into guest design a stamp set for Trinity. Davina blew me away with the designs, so I just kept feeding her different ideas and themes and she kept drawing!  I am thrilled with what we chose, and I’m super excited about what Davina designed for our Summer release.  In this release, Davina designed 5 stamp sets… Decorate-a-Cake, Lady Liberty, Let Love Grow, Succulent Banner, and my favorite stamp set she designed;  Coffee with Character.  She  reluctantly agreed to write about herself (because I kept asking lol), so here is more about Davina!

Hello everyone!

My name is Davina Cantrell. I am a mother of two teenagers and three furry pugs, wife to a wonderfully supportive husband (who encourages me to be creative everyday), and of course a mess maker extraordinaire! I am a lifelong crafter/maker, voracious reader, and self taught artist. Nothing brings me more joy than working with my hands. I am easily distracted by shiny things and I have a passion for Harry Potter, cardmaking and paper crafts.

Like so many of us nowadays, I met Taniesa through Instagram. One day after talking back and forth between posts she asked me if I would like to design a stamp set for her new company that she was developing. I immediately jumped at the opportunity. Little did I know just how much I would enjoy this crazy adventure! My one set turned to many (and hopefully many more).

When I was young I had a childhood dream of becoming an illustrator… perhaps drawing cartoons for Disney (back in the olden days when cartoons were actually drawn). Well, Life happens, children come, and those childhood dreams got put on a shelf to grow dusty over the years.  This amazing opportunity has given me so much joy and a sense of fulfillment. In a way, working and illustrating with Trinity Stamps has allowed me to dust off those dreams and say “Hey guess what, I did it!”

I hope you enjoy the designs we have created, and check back often to see what new dreams and imaginings we have brought to life. To see more of my art and project gallery please check out my Instagram at Popsiclesticks

Be sure to check out Davina’s Instagram account HERE. She is an incredibly talented crafter as well as a talented artist! Who knows, you might even notice a few sneak peeks now and then for upcoming releases… Shhhh!

Honestly, friends,  I could fill up pages of praise for these two wonderfully talented women. They have both quickly become friends and I am SO proud of the hard work they have done. It’s exciting that I am FINALLY able to brag about both of them. Waiting to share their beautiful artwork with our crafty community is like a kid waiting for Christmas morning!

Please visit both of these lovely ladies on Instagram and let them know what you think of their new designs with Trinity Stamps, I know they would love your feedback! As a special bonus… I will be picking two lucky crafters who comment on the artist’s Instagram feeds by Monday, June 4th.

One winner from Christina’s Instagram feed will receive an in-stock stamp set that Christina designed and one from   Davina’s Instagram feed will receive an in-stock stamp set that Davina designed.  To enter for the chance to win: follow these lovely ladies milkandhoney.inked and popsiclesticks, and of course, you will want to follow our account as well (TrinityStampsLLC).  Leave a comment on both of their accounts and tell them what your favorite stamp set they designed is. I will have a random number draw on Monday Morning (June 4th) and announce the winners on the Trinity Stamps Instagram account by 5pm PST that same day (June 4th).
