Make a Floral Wish
Hi everyone!
Ilina here! Today I am sharing a colorful birthday card using the Cupcake Bouquet stamp set. I love the large floral cupcake image in this set. It is large enough to cover A2 panel and it’s great size for watercoloring.
To make the card start by stamping the image on watercolor paper using black ink and emboss it using clear embossing powder.
Using watercolors or any medium of your choice color the image and die cut using the coordinating die. I used watercolor markers and paint brush to color the image.
Die cut a panel from white cardstock using the second to the largest die from the Modern Embossed Rectangles stack die. Stamp the light that would go around the candle using choice of yellow ink.
Adhere the cupcake using foam tape or stacked die cuts (my preference). Adhere the image to the panel.
Stamp “Make a Wish” on black card stock and emboss in white. Die cut using the coordinating die. Adhere to the cupcake.
To finish off the card, create a top folding note card from black cardstock and adhere the panel to it using foam tape, or again, my preference is to use stack of 3 pieces of heavy weight scrap cardstock.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
