Happy Valentine’s Day – Champagne Celebration

Hey, crafty friends!! I hope you are all doing well!!

Valentine’s day will be here before we know it!! I have a fun slimline Valentine card to share today!! This would be perfect for those men in our lives that are so difficult to make cards for!! Let’s get to it!!

I began by die-cutting all of the parts for the champagne bottle and glasses from green, white, kraft, matte gold and metallic silver cardstock using the Cheers Die Set. This set is so versatile!! It can be used for any occasion that calls for a celebration!! I added some shading and highlights with the Pop Fizz Layering Stencils and inks, along Copic markers.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the slimline die in the Slimline Wonky Stitched Wilderness Die Set. I added some red glitter gel onto the panel with the heart stencil in the Quilt Pattern Trio Stencil Set. Although this stencil is meant for a horizontal slimline orientation, I made it work for a vertical orientation by applying the glitter gel in two steps. I also die-cut a panel of kraft cardstock with the bottom potion of the Slimline Wonky Stitched Wilderness Die Set so the stitching would line up. I colored the woodgrain with Copic markers.

“Happy” was die-cut from red glitter cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock three times using dies from the Simply Sentimental – Happy Die Set. I stacked and adhered the layers together with liquid adhesive. “Valentine’s Day” was stamped onto a white cardstock strip with red ink using the Simply Sentimental – Happy Stamp Set.

From there, I just adhered everything together and added to the front of the card. I die-cut some hearts from red glitter cardstock using dies included in the Slimline Frame and Fold Die Set and added them to the champagne bottle labels.

The Sun Glow Dew Drop Baubles were the perfect addition for bubbles coming up from the champagne flutes!!

I really love how this turned out!! You could easily change the sentiment to fit any celebratory occasion!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you next Thursday!!

Brenda
