Happy Holidays Slimline Hanging Ornament Shaker

Hello, Trinity friends!! I hope those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving had a great one!!

I have an all die-cut, slimline shaker card to share today that was created with some goodies from the newest release!! As soon as I saw the Slimline Hanging Ornament Panel Die, I knew that I wanted to create a shaker card with it!!

Let’s get started!!

II started by die-cutting the Slimline Hanging Ornament Panel Die from heavyweight white cardstock seven times.

Next, I trimmed a panel of white cardstock and acetate to slimline size. The strings and ornament toppers were cut from black cardstock and matte silver cardstock using the dies in the Slimline Hanging Ornament Panel Die Set.

I adhered all of the die-cut panels together, sandwiching the acetate under the top layer. I added the Ruby Radiance, Extravagant Emerald and Aquamarine Ripple Rhinestones to the shaker and adhered the slimline panel to the back.

The ornament toppers and strings were adhered to the front of the card panel.

Lastly, the Scripty Holidays Dies were cut from red cardstock and vellum and adhered to the front of the card and I was finished!!

I really love the clean, graphic look with all of the sparkle from the rhinesones!!

Plus, everyone always loves a shaker card, am I right?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you next Friday!!

  1. I’ve put off making a shaker card with multiple openings, because building double layers of foam strips to create five or six wells for shaker bits seemed like such a hassle. Stacking die cut layers will be so much easier — thanks for sharing this technique!
