Happy Holidays Ornament

Hello, crafty friends and happy Thursday!! I hope your week is going well!!

I have a sweet holiday card to share with you that combines several products from the newest release!! Let’s get started!!

I started by die-cutting all of the pieces for my ornament from pink, aqua, light blue, green, metallic silver and white iridescent glitter paper using dies in the Large Ornament Shaker and Snowglobe Card Die Sets.

Next, I die-cut the Argyle Stitch Background Die from white cardstock and used the Retro Diamond Pattern Stencil Set and Blending Buddy Brushes, along with Spun Sugar and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Inks, to add some color.

The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the Modern Embossed Edge Rectangle Die Set and the largest die was used to cut an A2 panel of pink cardstock. They were layered together and adhered to a white, top-folding card base with liquid glue.

All of the die-cuts were adhered to the background with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the Simply Sentimental – Holidays Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. It was white heat embossed onto light blue cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Dies and popped up with foam adhesive.

I added some “snow” with a white gel pen and I was finished!!

I am really loving these soft, non-traditional colors for holiday cards!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great day and I’ll see you next week!!
