Distress Oxides Resist | Trinity Stamps

Hello friends! Today, I’m up on Trinity Stamps blog with two cards using Oxide Distress inks and the Trinity Stamps Hello Sweet Friend and Let Love Grow stamps.

Let’s begin! For my first card, I started stamping the flower arrangement from Hello Sweet Friend stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Hero Arts white embossing powder. Additionally, I stamped some leaves and flowers on top and bottom of the distress oxide-inked background and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.
Next, I started blending Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides inks in a piece of Distress Specialty paper by Tim Holtz. Then, I spritzed it with water using the Distress Sprayer, also by Tim Holtz. I removed the water excess with a paper towel and let it dry completely.

Once it was dried, I placed the panel on top of a black card base.
Finally, I stamped the sentiments with Versamark ink onto black cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Also, I run through my die cutting machine the thank you sentiment using the matching dies and added them with foam tape. Lastly, I put some Rock Candi confetti embellisments mix from Trinity Stamps.
For my second card, I stamped the images from Let Love Grow stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. As my next step, I blended Salty Ocean, Broken China, Peacock Feather and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxides inks in a white cardstock. I spritzed it with water and bottle off the excess using paper towel. I let it dry and once it was completely dried, I added the panel to a white card base.

What’s more, I stamped more flowers but only with Versamark ink around the stamped images for a ghost-like look, just to add more fun to this card.
Next, I stamped the sentiments with VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto white cardstock and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder from Hero Arts. Then, I die-cut the sentiments and added them with foam tape. Lastly, I put more Rock Candi confetti embellisments mix.
These were my fun cards for today! I hope you can try this resist technique with Distress Oxides inks. Please stop by the Trinity Stamps blog for more inspiration and get your goodies at www.trinitystamps.com
Thank you and have a wonderful Friday!
